VT - 36...Duke - 0

Glennon sucked it up...we don't have any RB's behind Ore...Marshman cannot play anywhere on the line...too many penalties

defense looks goooood, reallll goood...eddie royal is dangerous (58 yrd punt return for TD)....Ore is a special back

    oh yeah, and Glennon sucks

15-25-1 301 yards 2 TD's. He made a couple of bad decisions, but he also made some good ones. The kid's only a sophomore.

Glennon looked bad at first but I thought he picked it up as the game went along. There were 3-4 passes that should have been caught he did have 3-4 ugly ones also. A couple I was wondering if he was trying to throw souvineers into the crowd All in all not too bad for his 3rd start, but he only has one more week to really pick it up. I thought the run blocking was terrible today.

I thought Glennon played pretty well today. He threw some nice passes which required good touch and had a couple dropped. He is only a soph. on his third start and will not be perfect.

What happened to Ore? Seems like he left the game and nothing was said about it. Our run offense looked pretty weak.

The second personal foul on Rouse was a cheap shot.

I would guess once the Hokies had a comfy lead Ore was pulled to keep him healthy. E. Lewis looked slow. He's going to have to learn he isn't a shake and bake back and just lower his shoulders and hit the hole. K. Lewis has some nice moves and speed. I wouldn't be surprised to see him overtake Elan for the #2 spot. IMO he just needs some more reps to better learn the O. Didn't look bad for just coming up from the Scout team.

I thought K. Lewis (the guy from Danville?) looked much quicker and more decisive than Elan Lewis. I didn't realize that the tailback position was that thin though.

With Bell out again and Elan still needing to get in shape the Hokies will be hurting if Ore goes down with injury. Elan looks to need about 10 more lbs. at least off him, maybe more. But I feel if KL Jr. can get some time he will be a good backup. Not real big at 190 but extremly fast.

looks like the job is Lalich's next year huh?

Hite explained early in the week that he will not overuse any one back because he thought he caused one of his players in the early 90's a chance to be good in the NFL (ala what OU is doing to Adrian Peterson)...so he said he was gonna use both the Lewis kids in today's game regardless of score...i agree that Kenny Lewis does look like a better back than Elan Lewis, Elan is slowed by that brace on his knee and about 15 pounds on his belly
